1.With the same number of lanes, the differences in design standards such as design speed and surface quality may cause differences in capacity. Generally, the capacity of a four-lane expressway is approximately 100,000 passenger car unit per day while the capacity of a six-lane expressway is approximately 120,000 passenger car unit per day.
2.Yanba Expressway was constructed by section A, section B and section C, and was opened to traffic for operation in 2001, 2003 and 2010 respectively. As approved by Guangdong Provincial Government, the operation period of Yanba Expressway is 25 years, which is calculated from the day of opening for traffic by each section separately.
3.Toll-free for Meilin to Guanlan section of Meiguan Expressway with a mileage of approximately 13.8 km was implemented from 24:00 on 31 March 2014 and the toll for section from Shenzhen-Dongguan border to Guanlan with a mileage of approximately 5.4 km remained.
